The Course Donation includes cost of food & accommodation from the last arrival date to the first departure date, tuition as per the daily schedule shown below and the use of ashram facilities.

Pre-requisites - Eligibility

This course is open to all students who wish to deepen their knowledge and application of some of the highest teachings of Yoga and Vedanta. The lectures will be based on the Yoga – Vedanta Philosophy parts of Yoga Teacher Training Courses level 1(200 hrs) and level 2 (300 hrs).

Participants do not need to be yoga teachers.

Mastery of any yoga practice is not necessary... only your sincere desire for knowledge and your commitment to personal growth.

If you are a complete beginner in Yoga field: This course will give you a strong foundation on Yoga and Vedanta Philosophy and will help you to guide yourself better your own life.

If you are planning to do Yoga Teacher Training Course: This course will act as a good foundation/preparation for further learning.

If you are already a graduate of a Yoga Teacher Training Course from any Yoga School: This course will give a better and deeper understanding of the Yoga of Synthesis of Swami Sivananda.

Even if one does not wish to be a yoga teacher, one may attempt this course for the deeper understanding of the philosophies as well as for the intense purification experience and for all round development of the personality.

Course Details

This two-week long course offers a profound personal experience, designed to build a firm foundation of inner discipline. The essence of yoga as taught by Swami Sivananda’s YOGA OF SYNTHESIS is learned through a combination of repeated practical / physical sadhanas/practices and inspirational lecture classes to support the sadhana. An individualistic sadhana approach is emphasised, and this helps both a beginner as well as an advanced aspirant can benefit from.

This course is a 14 full day program without any day-off.
Genuine deep interest in ‘KNOWING YOURSELF’ is very essential to take part in this course.
There is lot of opportunity for introspection, analysis and enquiry.
Attendance is all classes as per the daily schedule is mandatory.
No home works or written examination at the end.

Wake up – Practice of Hatha Yoga Kriyas

Satsang (with all staff and other students) with Guided Meditation, Kirtan-Chanting, Talk on Yoga & Vednats, Arati & prasad.

Discussion of personal hatha yoga practice.

Herbal Tea Time
08:00 am
Individual sadhana – asanas, progressive practice on pranayama, mantra japa,

Brunch is available

Seva duties - Selfless Service

Assessment and Certification

A certificate of attendance is offered to all who complete the course successfully.

To finish the formality of registration:

Indian nationals: Need to send a non-refundable deposit of donation of rs 5000/-

Non-Indian or non-resident Indian nationals: Need to send a non-refundable deposit of donation for three days.

Please note:

Course donations are non-refundable, however any unused amount may be transferred, minus an administration fee, to another course within one year of the original course starting date. Or a credit note may be issued minus the administration fee. Credit notes are valid for one year from date of issue and can be used for any other courses/ programs or for anybody recommended by the depositor and also for boutique items or any other supplementary services.

Admission to any course is on first come first serve basis.
All the courses are taught in English, there is currently no translation facility available into any other language.

For all programs, guests are subject to the suggested donation in effect at the time of final payment.
To maintain the spiritual atmosphere we ask all ashram guests to comply with the ashram rules.
